The DNA of the Soul
A new Tanya Lecture Series

“The Tanya is considered to be one of the most extraordinary books of moral teachings ever written.”
- Opening the Tanya by Rabbi Adin Steinzaltz

We are pleased to launch our new series of lectures in Tanya, the magnum opus of Kabbalah and Chassidic philosophy. The Tanya compacts four millennia of Jewish wisdom to answer the great personal and existential questions of life. It has revolutionized the way we think about G‑d, the human soul, the world and our place in it.

The class is taught by Rabbi Binyomin Bitton, on Tuesday evenings, from 7:30-9:00pm (please note the dates below). The class is open to all, by donation to help support the Jewish Academy.

About the Title:

It seems like yesterday – walking by his office, always open welcoming you with a smile, I asked him: “What title do you suggest I should give to my new Tanya class?” It was in September 2005, just about to launch our first series of Torah classes.

He thought for a moment, and then he said: “The DNA of the Soul”. As always, Rabbi Dubrawsky knew how to get to the core essence of the matter, and then counseled you with such a clarity that made you feel so much better, confident and peaceful.
