Dear Friends,

Two and half years ago, a group of dedicated students embarked on a spiritual journey, exploring the Tanya, the foundational book of Chassidism, week after week.

Every Monday evening, we gathered at the Jewish Academy of Chabad of Downtown to explore the full scope of the 53 chapters of the Tanya; a text-based experience along with commentaries and insights.

The Tanya compacts four millennia of Jewish wisdom to answer the great personal and existential questions of life. As Rabbi Adin Steinzaltz puts it: "The Tanya is one of the most extraordinary books of moral teachings ever written."

The Tanya has revolutionized the way we think about G‑d, the human condition, the world and our place in it, and it serves as a practical guide to realize our spiritual potential.

Today, 120 Mondays later, we are happy to conclude the entire book of the Tanya!

We invite you to join us at Chabad of Downtown as we celebrate this milestone and explore the significance of Tanya in our times.

Mazel Tov!

Rabbi Binyomin Bitton
