New Kabbalah Series:

Nurturing Faith

This course is based on ‘Veatah Tetzaveh’, a chasidic discourse delivered by the Lubavitcher Rebbe. This maamar, whose relevance cannot be overstated, carries a special significance, as this would be the very last discourse that the Rebbe edited and personally distributed to chassidim.

Among other topics, it addresses questions that seem all the more urgent today: What is the relationship between leadership and empowerment? How can faith be reconciled with rationalism? How can we, as individuals, bring about universal redemption?

In the maamar, the Rebbe explains how the Jewish leader assists each Jew in strengthening, nurturing and internalizing the soul’s essential faith.

An opportunity for Vancouverites to extract the central insights of this discourse; a text-based experience with commentaries and insights taught by Rabbi Binyomin Bitton.

Helpful Zoom Tips for a Successful Study Experience!

Here are 6 IMPORTANT TIPS to make this class a success for you and for all of us:

1. For the best experience, avoid using your phone as your viewing device. Consider using a large screen such as your desktop computer or a laptop.

2. Enter the classroom early. The classroom is always open!

3. Have your camera on. This is how the teacher can get your feedback and we can all feel that we are studying together!

4. Please keep yourself on mute to avoid producing extra background noise. Feel free to unmute yourself to ask questions. If you are using a computer, holding down the space bar will unmute your mic temporally till you let go. This is the easiest way to ensure you go back on mute when you are finished speaking.

5. We would love to hear your thoughts. If you have questions or comments - you can raise your hand physically (I will see it!) or you can do it virtually (under the participants' tab).

6. Make yourself cozy and prepare a delightful tea or coffee and a special treat to snack on!
