Rabbi Binyomin Bitton - Originally from Lyon France, Rabbi Binyomin Bitton is the founder and spiritual leader of Chabad of Downtown Vancouver and co-Dean of the Jewish Academy. He studied at the world-renowned Yeshiva of Paris France, the Rabbinical College of America and the Talmudical Seminary in New York. He was ordained as a Rabbi at the Central Lubavitch Rabbinical Seminary in New York and regularly writes in scholarly Torah journals for advanced studies. He taught at the Yeshivot of Paris and Toronto and served as the Dean for the Yeshiva Gedolah of Western Canada. Mrs. Malky Bitton - A native Vancouverite, Mrs. Malky Bitton graduated with honours from the Lubavitch Girls High School of Chicago, and went on to receive a diploma in education from Beth Chana Seminary in Safed, Israel, and a B.A. in Judaic studies from Talpiot College in Toronto. Following her graduation, Mrs. Bitton's highly developed teaching skills and passion for teaching were in high demand and she spent a rewarding three years teaching high school students in both Toronto and New York. She now serves as co-director of Chabad of Downtown Vancouver as well as co-dean of the Jewish Academy. Along with event planning and teaching her popular classes for ladies, Mrs. Bitton is a busy mom to six adorable children!
Rabbi Yeshurun Blumenfeld - Rabbi Yeshurun Blumenfeld, a native of Vancouver, studied at Yeshivot both in North America and Europe. He received his Rabbinical ordination at the Central Lubavitch Rabbinical Seminary in New York. Following his marriage, Rabbi Blumenfeld continued his studies for an additional two years, and is well versed in Jewish Law and mysticism. Currently working in Vancouver, Rabbi Blumenfeld resides in Richmond with his wife Sara and their son, and teaches classes throughout the Lower Mainland.
Rabbi Yechiel Baitelman - Originally from Brooklyn NY, Rabbi Baitelman, together with his wife Chanie, is the co-founder and spiritual leader of Chabad of Richmond. He studied at the world-renowned Yeshivah, Oholei Torah in Brooklyn NY, the Yeshivah Gedolah in Boston MA, and the Talmudical Seminary in New York. He was ordained as a Rabbi at the Central Lubavitch Rabbinical Seminary in New York. He was one of the founders and dean of the Lubavitch Yeshivah in Minsk, Belarus. He now lives in Richmond together with his wife Chanie and their children.
